Cell Phone Policy
Students should not have their phones out or in their pockets while in the school building from 8:00 to 4:15. All student phones should be powered off and in their school bag. This also includes smart watches and Bluetooth headsets.
Intermediate & Middle School Consequences
First Offense
Confiscation of phone; Administrator contact parent; Cell phone/device held in office until the end of the day
Second Offense
Confiscation of phone; Administrator contact parent; Cell phone/device held in office until the end of the day; Detention (lunch, before school, or after school)
Third Offense
Confiscation of phone; Administrator contact parent; Cell phone/device held in office until the end of the day; One day of ISS (Student will no longer be exempt from semester finals)
Fourth Offense
Confiscation of phone; Administrator contact parent; Cell phone/device held in office until the end of the day; Two days of ISS (Student will no longer be exempt from semester finals); Student will be required to turn in phone to front office for the remainder of the school year
Additional Offense
Confiscation of phone; Administrator contact parent; Cell phone/device held in office until the end of the day; Administrator discretion following Student Code of Conduct for Persistent Misbehavior
